If you’re looking for expert winter running tips, you can’t do better than Boston Marathon winner Amby Burfoot. He’s run about 105,000 miles in his life, and during that time, he’s chalked up some impressive milestones: In addition to his 1968 Boston Marathon win, he’s finished the Manchester Thanksgiving Day Road Race 51 times (!!), winning 9 times. He’s widely recognized in the running community and has chalked up many awards.
