More than 40% of adults smoked in 1964; today, it’s less than 20%” – but tobacco use is still too high. The British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy designed a test to help you spot symptoms of stress and find out how well you are coping with the pressure of everyday life. Diabetes Prevention – A new study found that taking an extra 2,000 steps a day cuts heart attack risk for pre-diabetics by 8 percent. The study showed that “people who are already on the way to developing diabetes could significantly reduce their risk of having a heart attack or stroke by walking for just an extra 20 minutes a day for a year.”
